About us
Our Yard
We are a small, friendly yard that prides ourselves on the high standards of care we provide. We believe that horses are all individuals and we strive to provide a livery service that reflects this.
Our Team
We have 6 of our own horses here at Kingsford and 12 full livery horses. Yard owner, Allison lives on site and can be found working on the yard daily. Our amazing staff, Holly, Sam and Shona provide 5 star care and every horse is treated as part of the family.
Our Services
We offer full livery on a Mon - Fri or a 7 day service. Our standard full livery package includes -
- Daily turnout and bring in.
- Twice daily checks in the field if horses are out.
- Shavings bed, full muck out daily and regular skipping out when horses are stabled.
- Ad lib hay or haylage.
- Rugs changed as needed.
- Vet, farrier and dentist visits attended.
- Evening checks.
- Worming programme.
The following services can be provided for an additional fee -
- Exercising - hacking, schooling or lunging.
- Alternative bedding.
- Clipping and trimming.

Stables
All our stables are 12ft x 12ft. Each stable is equipped with rubber matting and automatic water drinkers. We have a combination of internal american barn style stable and some external wooden stables for those who prefer more fresh air or a better view!
Turnout
Daily turnout for all horses is encouraged here at Kingsford. Our fields are well managed and regularly rotated and rested and we have ample grazing to offer year round turnout. We do also have an indoor turnout area available for horses to stretch their legs in the worst of our Scottish winters! Horses are turned out in small, same sex herds but we aim to cater to individual requirements where we can.
Hay and Haylage
We produce our own quality hay and haylage on site so no need to worry about sourcing and storing your own.
Visiting Instructors
We regularly have instructors visiting and hold dressage clinics throughout the year. We also welcome liveries own coaches or trainers and have a booking system in place for the arena.
Vet, Dentist and Farrier
We have regular farrier, vet and dentist visits for our own horses and you are welcome to add your horse to our rota or to arrange your own.
Worming programme
Our worming programme is designed by our Vet and includes regular worm counts (via faecal samplimg) and worming as needed.
